Clint Mullican is a multi-style bassist from Chattanooga, TN. He studied at the University of Tennessee under Rusty Holloway receiving bachelor degrees in both Jazz and Classical styles. He is active in the Knoxville area and throughout the Southeast. He's played with artists representing a range of styles from Old Time Swing to Funk. These artists include- Robinella, Erick Baker, Greg Tardy, Donald Brown, Greg Abate, Kenneth Whalum and Wycliffe Gordon. He can also be found playing in Knoxville with Baseball the band, Devon Jones and the Uptown Stomp, Blueprint and the Blue Brothers among many others. Clint has also been active in the studio working on projects ranging from Metal to Trop-Rock (it really is a genre, ask him about it) with producers such as Travis Wyrick and Ken Coomer. Clint also teaches upright and electric bass privately and at Knoxville Community School for the Arts. He is looking forward to teaching at his second Kaufman Kamp.
