Baron Collins-Hill

Baron Collins-Hill grew up playing the mandolin in Maine and graduated from Hampshire College with a degree in music performance and ethnomusicology.

Versed in a variety of traditional music including old time and Irish traditional music, he also enjoys bluegrass, jazz, and open improvisation. He is known for his rhythmic experimentation and unique harmonic sense on the mandolin, tenor guitar, six string guitar, and a variety of mandolin family instruments. Baron runs MandoLessons, a website and YouTube channel offering free online mandolin lessons.
