Brazilion Rosewood Back and Sides, Engleman Top, Sunset Sunburst
This incredible guitar was built by Don Gallagher in 1997 for super-picker Steve Kaufman. It's in fantastic shape and sounds as big as it looks. She's a beautiful sunburst cutaway made from Brazilian/Engleman, with some really sweet cosmetic touches to set her off. This guitar will reward a player who spends some time mastering her low B string. And the Fishman matrix pickup makes her ready for prime time.

"It's also fun to have guitars from Pro players and recording artist. The instrument they choose for themselves are also among the very best. The label inside this one reads Made For Steve Kaufman by Don Gallagher 1997. Steve Kaufman has put 12 years of amazing music inside this guitar making it very special indeed." - Paul Heumiller
"I remember hearing Steve flatpick a 7-string for the first time. It was mind-blowing. Since I'm more of a fingerpicker, I wondered what this guitar might sound like with the standard demo tune. Having the low string added a whole new dimension to the chords and I loved it. The tone is rich and powerful without any mud. Just a great guitar custom made for a great player. If you're a 7-string fan or a Steve Kaufman fan or both, this is the guitar for you." - Al Petteway
"Okay, I can't play a 7-string to save my neck, but I can tell you just from horsing around that this one is seriously well built. The six strings that I CAN play are rich and powerful and rarin' to go. You can play this thing as hard as you want -- including all the way up the E string (a quality I love) -- and it won't get the least bit floppy on you. I see this one in the hands of an assertive and strong player. It's playability is excellent for anyone, but somebody with some power will really make it sing." - Al Schlimm
