Kid's Kamp

This new class, taught by Grammy Winning Marcy Marxer, was developed to get kids ages 6-10 started or better on an instrument. The kids will work, learn and play with several different instruments through the week. Proposed instruments are: Guitar, Mandolin, Banjo, Ukulele and Dulcimer. Learning chords, rhythms, melodies, how they are put together and how they work. Part of each day will be building and decorating a dulcimer. Then the kids will then spend a little time getting started on the dulcimer. Great for learning intervals and note distances. The kids should bring either a guitar, mandolin or banjo.

This class takes place 10-12 and 2-4 daily. Parents must stay on campus during class. Marcy has many Children’s DVDs and books and is a 2-Time Grammy ® Award winning artist. Materials Fee $50.00
