VINCE ILAGAN is a native of Knoxville, Tennessee and is a graduate of the University of Tennessee School of Music.

A musician with 20+ years of experience, he has played bass with Scott Miller & The Commonwealth, Justin Townes Earle, Larkin Poe, Jill Andrews, The Tennessee Sheiks, WDVX’s Tennessee Shines House Band,The Oak Ridge Symphony, Symphony of the Mountains, and others.Currently, he can be seen & heard playing with Circus No. 9, a fresh quartet on the bluegrass circuit already garnering attention with a nomination for IBMA’s 2019 Momentum Band Award.

National performance highlights include appearances at the Bonnaroo Music Festival, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival, Suwanee Springfest, Pagosa Springs Bluegrass Festival, the John Hartford Music Festival, The Cayamo Song-to-Sea Cruise, The Ryman Auditorium, and an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman. He has also performed internationally at festivals and theaters throughout Europe, Scandinavia, The Dominican Republic, Australia, and New Zealand.

Vince endorses Gallien-Krueger Amplifiers. He lives in Knoxville, TN with his wife (bassist Bryn Davies) and their two children.
