David Keenan is a busy musician. Being a member of 10 bands, writing, recording and teaching in his hometown of Seattle keeps him that way. This multi-instrumentalist plays guitar, banjo, mandolin, violin, viola and most anything else with strings, making him a versatile recording session artist and performance sideman.
In addition to numerous awards and commissions for his original compositions, he has been on the staff of the ‘Puget Sound Guitar Workshop’ since 1996, ‘The British Columbia Bluegrass Workshop’ since 2000 and the ‘California Coast Music Camp’ since 2005, teaching guitar, banjo, mandolin and voice. At SKAK he will be the Rock-A-Billy Picker along with traditional flatpicking. Welcome David!
