We all stayed relatively healthy and kept the lights on. What more can we ask for? Health and a roof over our heads!</p> <p>I played more shows and conducted more workshops in 2011 than any other year so I have to say that Flatpicking is Alive and Well on the planet Earth. People ask "How do they like your music overseas"? and I have to say that it is strong everywhere in the world and always has been. Last year found me in Canada twice, England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and the Nederlands and many trips across this fine country.</p> <p>This coming year I will be all across the USA along with Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, Australia and back to Calgary Canada and who knows were else. Still trying to get to Hawaii so if you have a connection just let me know and we'll get started on it.</p> <p>This year, I have a few empty weekends because my UK trip will happen every other year and that creates openings.
