Hello Steve!

When do you expecvt the next PLP volume to be out?  You requested suggestions almost 2 years ago (of which I offered MANY) & I was under the impression that early/mid-2012 was a target date...

So, what's the status?  Have you selected the songs yet? Where is the process generally?

Thanks,

Fred

Hi Fred

I offered up another PLP to Homespun and they wanted to distribute it only in a Digital Download format so I decided to do all the songs as Single Song Downloads found on this site. I am trying to find time to record and am trying to do all the songs from this point forward as Video Lessons. They are turning out great so resend your suggestions and let's see what and when can get done. These are a lot of fun to do and come with the complete lesson along with a Tab/Note sheet as a PDF. Check it out

Thanks

Steve K.

Hi Steve,

I think the single song downloads are a great idea.  I just looked and there are some great tunes there.  Ashoken Farewell for example - wow!  That's going to be the next song I learn!

Thank you,

Greg

Hi Steve,

I really hate to hear there will be no more PLP volumes.  I personally prefer PLP 3 because vocal songs are more appealing to me.  Maybe it's heresy, but could be that other publishers would be interested.

Also, in partial response to Will's post nearby, your Classic Arrangements is a great collection.  Maybe another similar collection would be a substitute for PLP.  Or, you now have several "My First ..." volumes, how about a "My Second ..." volume?

Keep up the good work!

Hello Steve!

It's been a long while since I last posted to the forum regarding the next PLP volume - I really like the solution you have found to solve your dilemna - As soon as I get cought up in the PLP Gospel book I will be ordering Farther Along & Faded Love - These are both songs I had requested you add to your downloads a couple of years ago - Your pricing on these downloads is great - I once paid $60+ for a PLP volume just for 2 songs ($30 per song avg.) - Very hard to find a flatpick instructor in this area & I'm sure it would have cost me HUNDREDS to get the detailed learning you provide - Well, now that you're buttered-up & compliant,PLEASE add  'I'm Blue' I'm Lonesome to your download menu - Also, I'd like to see'Life's Mountain Railway' - I have the tabs from you or Happy but there was never an audio supplement..

Thanks again for your valuable help - Without you, I'd be a strummer, not a picker...

Regards,

Fred
